The valley's own
rides, in your pocket.
Gilgit-Baltistan's homegrown ride-hailing app: name your fare and local drivers bid. Airport pickups, bazaar runs, lake days and jeep charters — driven by the same fleet that runs our private tours.

Three taps from bazaar to boarding gate.
- 01Name your fare
Set your pickup and drop, choose bike, car or 4x4, then offer what you think the ride is worth. A suggested fare from real road distance keeps it fair.
- 02Drivers bid
Nearby verified drivers accept your price or counter with theirs. Compare by fare, rating and arrival time — then pick the one you want.
- 03Ride, pay cash
The fare is locked before you get in. Track the car live, chat or call in-app, share the trip with family, and pay your driver in cash.
Built in the valleys it serves.
No surge algorithms — you post the price, local drivers bid, you choose. The fair-fare model built for mountain roads.
Watch your ride approach in real time, share your trip, and keep a foreground-service track through the valleys.
Coordinate pickups at hotels, airports and trailheads without sharing your number.
The journeys on this website live in the app's Tours tab too — browse, inquire and book from your pocket.
Fully bilingual interface, right-to-left ready — the whole family can use it.
Every driver is from Skardu, Gilgit or Hunza, registered and verified in-app. Your fare stays in the valley.
Most operators rent cars.
We run the network.
The app is proof of what "local operator" means here: our own registered drivers in Skardu, Gilgit and Hunza, live-tracked vehicles, and a dispatch desk that already moves the valley daily. When your journey needs a weather re-route at 6 a.m., that network is why it happens quietly.

The app, asked and answered
How does the SafarGB app work?
You name your fare and nearby drivers bid — the inDrive-style model built for GB's roads. Post a ride in Skardu, Gilgit or Hunza, pick the driver and price you like, track the car live on the map, and chat with your driver in-app. Fully bilingual in English and Urdu.
Where does SafarGB operate?
Across Gilgit-Baltistan's main valleys — Skardu, Gilgit and Hunza — with airport pickups, bazaar runs, lake days and jeep charters. Every driver is a local who knows these roads by name; it's the same fleet that runs the SafarGB private tours on this site.
How do I download the SafarGB app?
It's live on Google Play — search 'SafarGB' or open our listing directly (package pk.safargb.app). Prefer a direct file? Tap 'No Play Store? Get it on WhatsApp' and our concierge sends the Android install file. iOS follows next season.
Is the app free, and how do I pay for rides?
The app is free to download with no ads. Rides are paid in cash directly to your driver — no cards, no wallet top-ups. The fare is agreed and locked before the trip starts, so there's nothing to settle afterwards.
Can I drive with SafarGB?
Yes — driver registration is built into the app. GB-licensed drivers with their own vehicle register in minutes, set their own bids, and keep the fare transparent. The network is 100% local employment by design.
